Children above 12 are now permitted from opening time to 9 p.m. only when accompanied by an adult or a family member.
The food at Level 8 is exceptional, and well worth it. They also have a pretty awesome selection of single-malt whisky, which is a really rare thing here in Dar Es Salaam. This is all underpinned by exceptional 5-star service, which while we would expect it at a Hyatt Regency Property, it isn’t always a given.

Level 8 has the biggest and the best single malt whisky offering I’ve seen anywhere in Tanzania. It’s also carefully curated to include some amazing bottles, without just chasing expensive brand names to make Level 8 bar look fancy.
As you can probably tell, I’m a huge fan of Level 8 and it’s now a regular hang out for me. It’s not the cheapest place to get a drink or a snack, but it’s probably one of the most elite places to be.
